1. It cannot be used for tuning Q or Q+ version Unichips

1. It can be used to reflash, remap or reprogram all Classic version A, B, C, D (all versions) Unichips
2. It Can be used to upload and save your old maps from your Classic Unichip to your computer
3. Classic Unichips does not work with firmware, so you cant use it to update firmware

Classic Software FAQ

Q – Do I need an unlock code or registration file for the Classic software?
A – No you don’t need to to register the software thus there is no unlock code needed.

Q – Where can I find the maps for my vehicle?
A – Upload your map from your old Unichip or email us if you need a special map.

Q – Can I use the Unichip software on my Apple computer?
A – Unfortunately we currently don’t support any Apple operating systems

Q – Can I use the Classic Unichip software to update the firmware in my Unichip?
A – The Classic Unichips does not work with firmware, so you cant use it to update firmware files.

Q – Is the Classic software compatible with Windows 7?
A – Unfortunately not, the classic software is a DOS based software there can only be used with DOS operating systems such as Windows 98. If you want to use it in other operating systems you can use DOSBOX, see this page for Unichip Classic Software details.
